CLAIRE

My love for gymnastics started at age 7. I went on to become a competitive gymnast and was selected to competed for my London Borough for 5 consecutive years. Aged 13 I injured my achillies tendon. Following my injury I decided to hang up my handguards but I wanted to stay in the sport I loved. I decided I would like to become a coach and passed my first coaching qualification at age 16.

I gained a lot of experience working along side some fantastic coaches. I also enjoying judging and hold women’s artistic club judge qualification, often judging at local competitions.

I am a mum of three and my children all share my love for the sport. I wanted to start East Herts Gymnastics Club to give local children the opportunity to be more active and find their passion. I want to make it affordable to all, so all children get the chance to try our wonderful sport.

Qualifications

• Level 1 women’s artistic qualification
• Level 2 women’s artistic qualification
• Club level judge

Legal required qualifications;

• DBS checked
• Pediactric first aid
• Safeguarding and protecting children
